We use the FTP site - IQ Storage - for electronic data file transfer. Please read the instructions below on how to send files. There is one set of instructions for MAC and a different set of instructions for PC.

IMPORTANT - ALL FILES MUST BE COMPRESSED

FTP FOR MAC

To use the FTP site, customers must download and install Transmit from the site www.panic.com. Download is located under the truck icon in the major applications window.

Upon starting the program you must enter the following information in the information fields:

Address: ftp.iqstorage.com
Login: jlitho
Password: caution

Please enter or click connect.

A window will appear showing your hard drive on the left. Locate the files you wish to transmit. Highlight and drag to the window on the right. The file will immediately begin to upload. Upon completion of transfer, go to file in the upper left corner, choose disconnect.

 

FTP FOR PC

To use the FTP site, customers must download the free software from the site www.smartftp.com. All instructions for downloading and installing the software are posted and easy to understand. It might be helpful to some to print out the instructions before downloading and beginning installation.

After installing, go to your start menu and activate "Smartftp".

When the settings window appears, enter your email address.

When the program opens, under "FTP" in the upper left, choose local browser and then pick connect.

In the address bar, located just below the command bar, customers will have to input the following information to begin uploading their files.

Address: ftp.iqstorage.com
Login: jlitho
Password: caution

After entering this information, click the connect icon which is located in the upper left corner and appears as a computer in front of the earth.

One main window containing multiple windows will open. Close the window that reads "yourserver.com".

In the center window, "Local Browser", locate the files you wish to upload. Click, drag and drop these files into the right side of the upper window, "IQStorage". The program will then begin transmitting the files to the FTP site. You can watch the progress in the bottom window.
